Is Dunhuang Odyssey an exact reproduction of historical murals?

Dunhuang Odyssey is a new bone china collection using high-temperature decal decoration inspired by Dunhuang and the Silk Road. Desert caravans, dunes, architecture and flowing clouds shape its visual identity. It is presented as an inspired design, rather than an exact reproduction of historical murals.

Which Dunhuang Odyssey products can I order, and are they made to order?

Dinner plates, dessert and salad plates, oval platters, bowls, covered serving dishes, teapots, sugar pots, creamers, gravy boats, cups and saucers, cake plates, canisters and coordinated serving pieces are available. All products are made to order. The listed items and coordinated pieces can be ordered without a separate product development stage.

What can be customized for a Dunhuang Odyssey private-label order?

Silk Road-inspired artwork, landscape and architectural motifs, colours, decorative details, product assortments, logos, backstamps and retail or gift packaging can be customized.

What is the minimum order quantity, and can I mix colours or styles?

The minimum order quantity is 1,200 pieces per individual item. Mixed colours are available. When ordering different items or styles, each item or style must meet its own 1,200-piece minimum.

Can I get samples, and how does sample approval work?

Existing-product samples, custom artwork samples and new-mould samples are available. Samples are charged according to the specific sample, and the sample fee can be credited against the bulk order payment. Sample preparation normally takes 15 days. The process is to confirm the design artwork and visual mockup, pay the sample fee, and then receive the physical sample for review and approval.

What is the normal production lead time?

Standard production normally takes 30–45 days after both the deposit has been received and the sample has been approved. Custom packaging, new moulds and peak holiday periods can require additional time. The production schedule is confirmed for the specific order.

What packaging can I choose, and is there a separate packaging MOQ?

Standard packing is the default, and the packing plan is confirmed with the customer. We aim to keep transit breakage below 1%. Custom gift boxes, colour boxes, inner trays and e-commerce transport packaging are available, and we can recommend existing packaging formats and specifications. Custom packaging has no separate minimum order quantity; the product MOQ still applies. Packaging fees depend on the selected packaging style.

How do I request a quotation?
